Omnibox Tricks

You can use the Omnibox for more than keyword searches.  Try some of these tricks below:

Mathematical calculations: Simply type the calculation (for example, 12035*354) in the Omnibox.  Press Enter and the calculator will appear as the first search results.

Search Number Ranges: Stay in your budget by searching only for items within a dollar range. Be sure and put a string (...) between amounts.

Convert Currency and Measurement: Convert pints to liters, yards to meters, dollars to pesos, etc. Just type the number and unit, "to" and what you want to convert to.

Time Zones: You can see the time for any location by typing "time" and the location.


Check the Weather: Type in the word "weather" and the location or zip code to find the weather conditions of any area.
